The fees to take the MCAT are $225 (current as of 2008). This price is current as of 2008, please check to ensure you are paying the correct amount before you send in your MCAT registration. If you cannot pay the full price of $225, it is advised that you apply to the AAMC fee assistance program.
The fee assistance program was initiated so that individuals who could not afford to pay the MCAT registration fee or the application fees for applying to medical school could still pursue their dream of becoming a physician. Approved applicants will only need to pay $85 for the MCAT exam. The application will be waived on up to 13 medical schools. Applicants will pay $30 for each school in addition to the 13 free applications.
