The MCAT, or Medical College Admission Test, is a computerized exam taken by those seeking admission into medical school in the U.S. and Canada. While it covers science-related topics, the MCAT also test writing skills, analysis, critical thinking, logic, and problem solving.

The Writing Sample section consists of two essay questions. You will type your essays into a computer. The Verbal Reasoning, Physical Sciences, and Biological Sciences sections are entirely multiple-choice.
