SAT Test Registration

You may register for the SAT test online or by mail. Please see the Official College Board website to learn how to register. SAT Test Registration is fairly easy. You will just need to provide some information about yourself in the application form along with the fee.

Learn about SAT test dates before you apply to be sure you select the best test date for you. You may need to work around other big events in your life and of course, you will need some time to prepare for the SAT test before you go in to take it.

You may also want to review SAT score procedures before you register. Determine what the average score is for the colleges you plan to apply to and set your sights on achieving at least that score. This will help you determine when you should register for the SAT.

Testing for the SAT starts at 8:00 a.m. It is suggested that you arrive at the test center by no later than 7:45 a.m. You will need to bring two No. 2 pencils and an eraser along with an acceptable calculator (make sure the batteries are fresh).

Make sure to also bring an acceptable photo ID and the SAT Admission Ticket that was sent to you.
