TOEFL Registration

Depending on where you live, you may be eligible to take the TOEFL as an Internet-based test at an authorized testing center.

You may register for the Internet-based test online, by phone, by mail, or by showing up at a testing center (limited to only certain testing centers).

The iBT version is tested more often than the paper-based version of the TOEFL. Once you download the TOEFL Information Bulletin, then you will need to decide which version of the test you would prefer to take; the iBT or the paper-based version.
